Business Development Services Technical Lead– Rwanda

Project Overview and Role

Palladium seeks a Technical Lead, Business Development Services, for the anticipated USAID-funded Nguriza Nshore program. Nguriza Nshore is focused on alleviating constraints to entrepreneurship and increasing access to financing, in order to create off-farm businesses that will grow to provide productive employment for rural populations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation of strategy to create a sustainable business development services industry that helps firms establish and expand
  • Provide capacity building and technical support to existing and new entrepreneurship support organizations to increase their reach and effectiveness
  • Facilitate Rwandan enterprise access to a range of support services, including support in accessing finance and investment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject (MBA, MA in Business Administration, Economics, Trade or any other relevant field); Master's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience related to the scope of work
  • Experience directly providing business development services to entrepreneurs and/or supporting entrepreneurs to access business development services, including but not limited to access to finance.
  • Must be knowledgeable of current Rwandan context and opportunities related to the scope of work.
  • Must have demonstrated management and leadership skills.
  • Fluency in English required.
