SPRING Accelerator: Consultancy for Cohort 4 Human Centred Design (HCD) Research Management and Delivery

SPRING Accelerator is a five-year programme funded by DFID, the Nike Foundation, USAID and DFAT. The programme works with early, growth stage and mature businesses to develop products and/or services that can transform the lives of girls aged 10-19 across East Africa and South Asia. We work with world-class experts using Human-Centred Design (HCD) to support these businesses to create innovations with purpose and shared value.

SPRING has delivered Cohorts 1, 2, and 3 in East Africa and South Asia and is now returning to South Asia (Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nepal, and Pakistan) for Cohort 4. Businesses receive nine months of world-class HCD, research, investment readiness support and more for each diverse cohort of up to 20 enterprises from a specific region. In return, businesses commit to launch a market-oriented innovation, also known as Business Prototype that meets the needs of adolescent girls (and have it tested with them) and supports the core operations of their businesses to enable sustainability, viability, and scalability.

More information can be found on the SPRING website:

This call for proposals is open to all firms who wish to participate, and lead and manage for the delivery of HCD Research across South Asia (Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nepal, and Pakistan). The service provider will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the safe, timely delivery of all recruitment and logistics of the research, ensuring that it meets the brief provided; recruiting, managing, and working in close collaboration with the local Research Moderators who will deliver the research; and providing general project management oversight and updates to the SPRING team (based across South Asia, London, and San Francisco).
