Develop a Specialized Business Growth Program for SMEs with Export Potential - El Salvador

The USAID Project for Economic Competitiveness aims to increase the competitiveness of El Salvador's key economic sectors, strengthening the capacity of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) to compete in national and export markets. In addition, it seeks to improve the national business environment, promoting private sector investment, business expansion to key municipalities, innovation, technology, and job creation.

The Project seeks increase the capacities of MSMEs through technical assistance, training and mentoring in integral areas of the business. As well as in improve the conditions of the business environment by expanding, specializing, and generating new business development services towards the company demands.

In this context, Salvadoran and international companies are invited to participate and send their expressions of interest and requests for the bidding rules.

With installed capacity for the implementation of technical assistance programs of group and personalized training in person, virtual and/or hybrid.

With more than 8 years of proven experience in: business competitiveness and internationalization of small and medium-sized companies from different sectors. Experience in the chemical-pharmaceutical and food and beverage sectors will be valued.

With verifiable experience of at least 5 years in the development of technical assistance programs specialized in business growth, which include companies in the chemical, pharmaceutical and food and beverage sectors, as well as promoting and expanding markets, mainly towards exports, with the goal of imcreasing their income/sales and job creation.

Have proven experience in the development of methodologies, tools and instruments that ensure success in the execution of the program and the transfer of knowledge based on the experience of its partners or professionals in the field and personalized attention tailored to companies.

Have specialists in the aforementioned sectors and a wide network of professionals/experts who, in addition to actively participating in leadership roles in global companies, have international experience in key areas of the company, including: market trends, development of new markets, export and marketing strategies, regulations for exporting to the United States or other markets of interest to the sector.

Have a network to facilitate the exchange and transfer of knowledge between companies and experts, as a tool that promotes the sustainability of the program.
