Digital Transformation Business Program for Ecommerce for 100 MSMEs in the Agribusiness Sector of El Salvador

The USAID Economic Competitiveness Project (ECP) seeks to increase the competitiveness of El Salvador's key economic sectors, strengthening the capacity of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) to compete in domestic and export markets, and to improve the national and subnational business environment encouraging private sector investment, innovation and business expansion fostering economic growth and job creation, and thus, preventing the migration of Salvadorans. The USAID Economic Competitiveness Project, implemented by Palladium International LLC., is scheduled to develop a Business Program on digital transformation with a focus on ecommerce to 100 MSMEs in the Agribusiness Sector of El Salvador to improve the competitiveness of the selected MSMEs through the awareness, development and implementation of digital transformation in their companies, through training and technical assistance in digital innovation processes in the areas of opportunity identified in a way that defines and initiates a critical path to digitization.

The required profile of the company is as follows:

  • National or international company legally established.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the development of technological solutions and implementation of digital channels for SMEs preferably in the Agribusiness Sector.
  • Experience working with verifiable international cooperation.
  • At least 5 years of experience and trajectory in the educational and training of MSMEs in the Agribusiness Sector.
  • With a physical and / or digital infrastructure that allows it to execute actions, training and follow up on the progress of the project milestones through monitoring.
  • It has a multidisciplinary team in areas of digital development oriented towards business management, financial management and market. Companies must include in their proposals personnel who speak Spanish.
  • It has proven experience working with companies in the Agribusiness sector in the volume requested by the Project. Preference will be given to companies that include alliances with experts or international companies.
