Palladium International, LLC is the implementing contractor of the USAID funded Kenya Investment Mechanism (KIM).
The purpose of the assignment is to support KIM in conducting periodic outcome assessments to document key results and lessons for completed or ongoing program interventions. These assessments will provide a basis for testing the key assumptions and hypotheses behind the adopted program implementation approaches. These are: insufficient quality consulting services for enterprises seeking access to finance and investment; and limited scalability of financial products tailored to the targeted sectors. The outcome monitoring will provide continuous data to demonstrate additionality of KIM interventions and attribution of observed outcomes to the activities. Some of the key data sets anticipated through these assessments include social and economic indicators such as number of new jobs created because of additional capital injection, profitability and productivity of enterprises receiving finance, changes in lending patterns among partner institutions, behavioural changes among partner business advisory providers and FIs in relation to lending to the targeted sectors, among other areas.
