Provide Short Term Training on Power Markets - South Asia

Palladium is managing the Training and Networking Services (TNS) for an Australian Government funded project- South Asia Regional Infrastructure Connectivity (SARIC) from 2022 to 2025 through a series of short-term training and networking events.

The purpose of this SARIC project announcement is to solicit applications from interested parties for providing short term training- ‘Power Markets’ for the South Asia region in October-December 2023.

The training shall focus broadly on topics of Power Market. Through a combination of online and offline learning activities, site visits, case studies and interactions with Australian experts, organisations and institutions; participants will benefit from:

  • Enhance senior executive knowledge and understanding of different approaches to cross-border electricity trading and what is required for success with a view to helping them boost energy security and overall climate-resilience in South Asia.
  • Lessen skill gaps that may constrain World Bank and IFC assistance to South Asia’s electricity sector through holistic capacity building.
  • Encourage participants to work together to apply the knowledge and good practices learned to issues facing South Asia’s electricity sector.

The RFT is open to educational institutes, universities, training provider organizations and consulting firms as per the eligibility criteria mentioned in the RFT document.
