Short Term Training on ‘Road Asset Management’ for the South Asia Region

Palladium is managing the Training and Networking Services (TNS) for an Australian Government funded project- South Asia Regional Infrastructure Connectivity (SARIC) from 2022 to 2025 through a series of short-term training and networking events.

The purpose of this SARIC project announcement is to solicit applications from interested parties for providing short term training- ‘Road Asset Management’ for the South Asia region to be conducted in February-March 2024.

The training shall focus broadly on topics of Road Asset Management. Through a combination of online and offline learning activities, site visits, case studies and interactions with Australian experts, organisations, and institutions; participants will benefit from:

  • Increased awareness of emerging approaches, principles and data-driven technologies, intelligent transportation systems, tools and techniques being applied globally in RAM
  • Enhanced understanding and knowledge of quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) imperatives for road sector within country-specific contexts and specifically, of the evolving ecosystem and specific roles of the public and private sector stakeholders involved in road asset management and the consequent changes it is engendering in road infrastructure development and management
  • Building competencies in planning-based identification and critical evaluation of options and trade-offs in traffic system management and RAM

The RFT is open to educational institutes, universities, training provider organizations and consulting firms as per the eligibility criteria mentioned in the RFT document.
