Training Services - Building Blocks for Inclusive Regional Infrastructure Projects - South Asia

Palladium is managing the Training and Networking Services (TNS) for an Australian Government funded project- South Asia Regional Infrastructure Connectivity (SARIC) from 2022 to 2025 through a series of short-term training and networking events.

The purpose of this SARIC project announcement is to solicit applications from interested parties for providing short term training- ‘Building Blocks for Inclusive Regional Infrastructure Projects’ in November 2022. This will be the first SARIC training and aims to enhance knowledge and address skill gaps in the SARIC projects identified by the partners- World Bank, IFC, and DFAT Posts in South Asia.

The training shall focus broadly on topics of general management, PPP, ESG, and GEDSI for the transport and energy sector. The expected duration of the training shall be 2-3 weeks. The provision of short course training services for individuals in two streams which is also the subject of this RFT:

  • Individuals from the public and private sectors directly involved in the preparation and/or eventual delivery of the projects identified by the World Bank and IFC; and
  • Senior decision makers in the infrastructure sector, covering private and public sector officials, academics, and senior civil society members.

The scope of services includes Course development and delivery, Pastoral care services, and Networking event among other related activities. The RFT is open to educational institutes, universities, and training provider organizations as per the eligibility criteria mentioned in the RFT document.
