Website Development Services

The Palladium-implemented Feed the Future Kenya Investment Mechanism (KIM) is seeking the services of a professional web design consultant/firm to design and develop a modern website for the Kenya Investment Mechanism to act as an "Investment Portal". This site is a critical element of the project's technical approach for fostering market-led investments in the project’s target value chains. Greater awareness of the investment opportunities in Kenya’s key sectors of the economy including agribusiness, the services provided by Business Advisory Services linked to USAID’s Kenya Investment Mechanism project and the linkages to financial institutions provided by the project will lead to more investment in the targeted sectors and value chains, creating jobs and increasing revenues to both business and government. This website’s primary intent is to scale finance and investment to the project’s target sectors and geographies in Kenya and the region, as well as keep our audience informed and engaged about the work we are doing.

The primary target audiences for the Investment Portal are agribusinesses and other firms in Kenya Investment Mechanism’s target value chains, international and domestic investors, financial intermediaries, and BAS providers. Secondary audiences include agribusiness development practitioners, donor implementing partiers, public institutions within the Government of Kenya, and the general public. Our vision for the site is to become a primary destination point for any and all parties considering investment in the project’s target sectors, value chains, and regions.

The proposed site should be managed through a WordPress content management system, on a dedicated hosting option. It should be built in a manner that makes it easy for the web master to make quick updates and tweaks to the site without the need of in-depth website design knowledge. The website should adhere to the Feed the Future Kenya Investment Mechanism brand identity.

Interested firms must submit a proposal to us.kimprocurement@thepalladiumgroup.com,with reference “KIM Website Development”, to be received by Sunday, 2nd August 2020, at 23:59 hours, EAT (UTC +3). The proposal must include expression of interest, detailed CVs and portfolio containing consultant’s or firm’s qualifications and experience with samples of previous work, proposed schedule of activities and key milestones, and financial proposal based on the deliverables outlined in this SOW, including taxes. KIM is obliged by the Kenyan tax authorities to withhold taxes on service fees as well as any applicable VAT.
