Richard Paulsen

Director, Education

Richard is Palladium's Asia Pacific Education Director. He brings 16 years of experience in the design and implementation of education sector reform initiatives across Southeast Asia. Richard has a particular interest in indigenous education models, the debate around public vs. private sector investment to boost quality education, school-based management and education sector finance.

He has helped design and implement education programs for clients including UNESCO, UNICEF, the European Commission, USAID, DFAT, the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank as well as assignments with philanthropic and social enterprise organisations like the Putera Sampoerna Foundation. Richard has worked in Indonesia, PNG, Timor Leste, Myanmar, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Philippines, and across the Pacific.
