At Palladium we recognise the strength of a global network, but we know that the biggest impact comes from mobilising local workforces who know and understand the challenges of the communities we support. We operate in 90 countries with a dedicated team of more than 3,000 employees.
Since our foundation in Australia 60 years ago, we have supported and enabled economic growth, international development and local employment, serving communities in remote and challenging environments.
Today, Palladium brings specialist expertise and experience in:
- Enabling employers in industries experiencing recruitment challenges to find and secure personnel with the right skills and attitudes.
- Supporting employers to re-design their employment policies and workforce development strategies to create a more inclusive environment that enables employers to attract and retain more talent – particularly those experiencing complex barriers to work.
- Working with groups that need specialist support to find and sustain employment, including people who are long-term unemployed, individuals with mental and physical health conditions, and refugees.
- Designing and delivering programmes that enable people with disabilities to gain qualifications and secure employment.
- Using best practice in case management to consistently deliver against government commissioner targets.
- We operate an extensive range of employment support services across the globe, including large-scale government commissioned employment programmes and specialist local employment programmes. Our Australian team, working in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Adelaide, has been a trusted partner to the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade for more than 30 years, delivering a wide range of programs in the Indo-Pacific region focussed on education, scholarships, skills development and employment.
- In the UK, we deliver the government’s flagship employment programme to support long-term unemployed people, Restart, supporting1,863 people secure sustainable work. We also deliver the Refugee Employment Programme, helping refugees to integrate and progress into work, providing a wraparound integrated service with local partners and community groups.
- In Vanuatu, through the Vanuatu Skills Partnership (a locally-led initiative of the Australian and Vanuatu governments) we are enabling people with disabilities to secure qualifications and employment.
- In Indonesia, through the Innovation for Indonesia’s School Children programme, we have worked hard to accelerate improved student learning outcomes and support education transformation, setting students up for future success.
- In Sri Lanka, we manage the Skills for Inclusive Growth programme, contributing to sustainable job creation and increased income and business growth for marginalised and disadvantaged people – particularly women and people with disabilities.
Our collective experience and insight, across different governments, local communities, cohorts and labour market conditions, informs and shapes our approach to employment services. Our approach is to:
- Ensure our leadership and delivery teams reflect the diversity of the communities we work in, with lived experience an integral part of our approach.
- Invest in training and development to ensure our front-line teams are equipped with the skills, knowledge, attitude and awareness to support people to achieve their goals.
- Create a workplace culture where all employees feel valued and empowered to perform to the best of their abilities, reflecting Palladium’s person-centred ethos.
- Work in partnership with delivery organisations ranging from large multinational corporations to local citizen groups. These relationships inform our programs, ensuring that we combine the best local solutions with our expertise in international best practices.
- Adapt quickly to changes in employer (and employee) demand to ensure that our support services continue to deliver successful employment outcomes regardless of fluctuations in the labour market.
- Integrate employment services within the local eco-system, better connecting health, housing, skills and advocacy/support services around the needs of individuals.
- Deliver high quality case management that provides more intensive, personalised support, enabling people – often with substantial vocational and non-vocational barriers – to progress towards sustainable employment.
- Work with employers to deliver targeted outreach support to help participants stay in work, gain new vocational qualifications and progress in their careers – not only helping the individual, but improving employer productivity and performance.
Together with our delivery partners, employers and local communities, we deliver lasting impact. We empower more people, particularly those furthest removed from the labour market, to work and live a better life. We enable employers to get the talent they need and improve their productivity and performance. And we support inclusive growth – ensuring that job creation opportunities benefit people that are too often left behind.
Our team of experts represent a diverse range of disability and apply their lived experience to create solutions for overcoming daily barriers. They are skilled at training and development, accessibility reviews, inclusive community consultation and development, inclusive sport, the intersectionality of disability, accessible communications, and providing evidence-based practice.
Our purpose is to share experiences and ideas that lead to improvements in access and inclusion for every person.
