Get Set UK Joins Palladium’s Employment and Community Services Team

Get Set UK is joining Palladium’s Employment and Community Services team—bringing together two organisations with shared purpose helping people find work, build skills and move forward with confidence.

“This move builds upon the strong foundation we have laid in the UK,” says Palladium CEO Sinéad Magill. “It reflects the commitment of our teams and all the impact they’ve made in communities across the UK. It also speaks to our belief that, together with Get Set UK, we can go further.”

Since 2009, Get Set UK has delivered a wide range of government‑funded programmes and community‑based services, supporting people to build confidence, develop skills, and move into long‑term employment. Their work is grounded in strong local relationships and a person‑centred approach that recognises each individual’s journey rather than one‑size‑fits‑all solutions.

Employment, skills, health, and wellbeing are closely linked but support is often fragmented. By coming together, Palladium and Get Set UK will offer a more joined-up and sustainable model that better reflects how people experience these challenges in real life.

“Even when employability is the focus, much of the work is about helping people rebuild stability, confidence, and independence,” Magill explains. “That’s something both teams understand deeply and is reflected in how practitioners work with their programme participants.”

Both organisations deliver UK Government employability programmes in different regions. Since 2021, Palladium has delivered programmes across South Central England while Get Set UK has led delivery across Greater London, the Southeast, and the North West. Together, the combined team will be able to reach more people, strengthen delivery across regions, and remain responsive to individual and local needs.

Responding to a Changing Landscape

This partnership comes at a time of significant economic pressure and change across the UK labour market. Employers are working through slow growth, rising costs, and ongoing skills shortages, while many individuals face complex and overlapping barriers to work, from health challenges to caring responsibilities and disrupted career pathways.

Bringing Palladium and Get Set UK together is a direct response to the moment, combining strong frontline delivery with the scale and experience needed to meet growing demand.

“This is about strengthening what already works,” says Thomas Harley, CEO of Get Set UK. “By combining our frontline expertise with Palladium’s and backed by their experience managing large-scale programmes for the government, we are better placed to support more people effectively and create clearer pathways into work and skills.”

For both teams, continuity matters. Day‑to‑day services will continue as normal with a focus on people-first delivery and strong relationships with local employers, partners, and communities.

“We’ve found in Get Set UK a team that shares our values,” Magill adds. “This partnership is rooted in a shared commitment to people and place.”

Get Set UK brings deep local knowledge and trusted relationships. Palladium brings the governance, operational capability, and long‑term investment needed to sustain and strengthen that work. Together, the aim is to deliver more high‑quality support that meets the realities of people’s lives.

Over time, the partnership will enable closer collaboration, shared learning, and targeted investment in capabilities–from integrated support models to stronger employer engagement, and greater resilience across programmes.

Get Set UK joining Palladium marks a step toward more connected, people‑focused employment services—supporting not only access to work, but lasting opportunity and progress.
