Palladium is excited to announce the appointment of Mohasin Kabir as our new Country Manager for Indonesia, based in Jakarta.
“Palladium has proudly supported the Australia-Indonesia bilateral relationship for 50 years,” explains David Williams, Palladium’s Asia Bilateral and Regional Lead. “Indonesia’s National Long-Term Development Plan prioritises sustainable economic growth for all, climate change resilience, and transformative reforms across health and education – areas that Palladium is well positioned to support.”
“Mohasin will work closely with our clients and partners to support equitable and sustainable development as well as investment and trade between Australia and Indonesia.”
With a strong track record driving change within complex market systems, Mohasin brings a wealth of experience to his new leadership role. For many years he worked on the high profile Katalyst program in Bangladesh, with a particular interest in micro, small and medium sized enterprises and farmers. Katalyst is considered to be one of the most successful market development projects in the world, and the largest in South Asia.
Most recently, Mohasin was CEO of the $88 million DFAT funded PRISMA program from July 2023 until the program’s closure in December last year, leading a large project team across Eastern Indonesia. PRISMA leaves a legacy to be proud of, improving incomes, livelihoods and resilience for 1.48 million smallholder farming households across 11-years of delivery.
Fresh from his experience on PRISMA, Mohasin will now oversee all Palladium program delivery across Indonesia, looking for ways to enhance our impact for our clients and the communities we serve.
“Our Indonesian program portfolio is diverse and impactful,” says Mohasin. “As a country, Indonesia presents both challenges and opportunities that require us to be flexible and forward-thinking. I’m excited to see our team embrace new ideas and approaches as we navigate such a dynamic market.”
Mohasin’s appointment will support and elevate Palladium’s ongoing commitment to exceptional program delivery and growth in Indonesia.
