This assignment seeks to engage a qualified Lead Writer, with the option of proposing a supporting Technical Researcher, to document implementation of the Indonesia–UK FLEGT Voluntary Partnership Agreement during 2025–2026. The publication will explain the partnership’s achievements, demonstrate the practical value of SVLK/FLEGT for UK and potentially EU markets, and show how Indonesia’s assurance system is evolving in response to international expectations.
The scope includes confirming the publication narrative and structure, conducting a limited number of stakeholder interviews, compiling and verifying implementation evidence, and drafting a clear, balanced and accessible publication in British English. The work will address assurance, traceability and market confidence, combining policy precision with practical information for timber importers, buyers, retailers, procurement actors, government institutions, and Indonesian producers and exporters.
The assignment is expected to be delivered from December 2026 to February 2027. The indicative budget is up to IDR 105,000,000 for services, plus up to IDR 10,000,000 in approved reimbursable costs, inclusive of tax. Proposals must be submitted by 6 November 2026 at 15:00 WIB.
