The purpose of this engagement is to conduct a rapid assessment that will establish the programmatic baseline for an initiative addressing the mismatch between skills development efforts and labour market demand in the West Rand District Municipality specifically and the Gauteng Province generally. The assessment will analyse labour demand and future looking labour trends with a focus on skills that are transferable across mining and other sectors i.e. manufacturing, automotive and green energy sectors.
