The purpose of this RFQ is to procure laboratory equipment required to strengthen microbiological diagnostic capacity, specimen management, laboratory surveillance, and safe transportation of biological samples within healthcare and public health institutions in the Republic of Moldova. The procurement is structured into the following lots:

(1) Laboratory Carrying Bags with Integrated Thermometer;
(2) Desktop Thermal Barcode and Label Printer for Laboratory Use; and
(3) Binocular Microscope.

The procurement is being conducted under the EpiC Moldova Global Health Security (GHS) Project to support microbiological diagnostics, antimicrobial stewardship (AMS), antimicrobial resistance (AMR) surveillance, specimen quality management, and infection prevention activities within beneficiary institutions.

The requested equipment will support safe transportation of biological samples, standardized specimen identification and traceability, routine microbiological investigations, laboratory quality assurance activities,
and generation of reliable laboratory data for clinical and public health decision-making. The procurement will also contribute to strengthening laboratory capacities, improving the quality and reliability of microbiological services, supporting evidence-based healthcare interventions, and enhancing national surveillance systems coordinated by the National Agency for Public Health (NAPH).
