MDF plans to work with the Government of Samoa and other organisations and individuals to trial additional feral pig management measures. This is likely to include trials of: sodium nitrite baiting; GPS tracking collars on pigs; and electric fencing of commercial farms. MDF is seeking the services of a consultant with expertise in feral pig management to assist with these additional trials, and related aspects of feral pig management.
