Jonathan Moss

Director, Conflict and Stabilisation

From climate adaptation to competition for scarce resources, displacement, migration against a backdrop of the re-emergence of old school geopolitical competition, our world has seldom felt more fragile and unpredictable. For over 20 years fragile and conflict affected states have been at the heart of Jon's world, including directing the British government's Humanitarian, Stabilisation Operations Team (HSOT). From the Middle East, Central Asia to North, East and West Africa Jon supports Palladium's clients to understand and interpret complex dynamics and design and implement measures that build cohesion, community resilience and promote durable, just and inclusive peace.

A history graduate with post graduate expertise in farming forestry and agribusiness combined extensive reserve military experience gained in Iraq and Afghanistan, Jon brings a wide range of experience and expertise to the table. His work has been recognised - in 2006 he received operational honour for his work as a political officer with the British Army in Iraq. In 2014 he received an OBE for his work on Governance in Afghanistan.
