Matt is Palladium’s Asia Pacific Director of Climate and Nature, with more than 25 years’ wide-ranging climate change experience in the public and private sectors. For the past couple of decades Matt has worked in more than 50 countries, focusing on the monitoring, quantification, reporting and verification of climate change impacts. Through his work he’s engaged with a wide range of stakeholders, from small companies and local government to national governments, donor agencies, multinational companies and multilateral organisations.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and a Master of Environmental Engineering, with a specific research interest in climate risks to large infrastructure (particularly dams). He has also co-authored a textbook for science and engineering students called The Complete Guide to Climate Change (Routledge), and currently sits on the Boards of The Gold Standard Foundation and SustainCert.
