As Palladium's Director of Employability and Community Services, Caroline leads Palladium’s global employment and community services business which currently delivers Restart, which supports long-term unemployed people back to work and the Refugee Employability Programme, which provides community integration, English language and employment support to refugees and asylum seekers in the UK. In addition, she is leading Palladium’s market entry strategy for employment services in Australia. Very much inspired by her experience as a young-carer to her mother who suffered with paranoid schizophrenia; Caroline has forged her career in roles dedicated to supporting vulnerable and struggling people and communities and is a passionate advocate for those with no voice.
She spent the first 10 years of her career in London local and regional government, including a 4-year stint at the London Development Agency where she developed, procured and managed a number of large-scale employment, skills, and business support programs in East London in the years preceding the London Olympics. Since 2009, Caroline has further developed her career on the other side of the fence, developing a reputation as a strong Business Development leader for several private and not-for-profit organisations, leading bids for major public sector contracts across a range of services including employment services, specialist disability/health employment programs, skills, social care, children’s services, and justice.
